The Megxit was pushed on by the Royal Family’s interests

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal departure shouldn’t surprise anyone

The newly crowned Duke and Duchess of Sussex, named “Sussexes”, seemed destined to pave the way for a marvellous new era of progressive royalty.

Prince Harry wed Meghan Markle in a gilded ceremony attended by George Clooney and Oprah Winfrey featuring American bishop Michael Curry imparting the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Unortunately the British Royal Family can accept a lot of things but a loss of British identity.

It is no secret that nor the grandmother, the Queen, not the British Royal staff, never liked the new member of the family, a mixed-race American indipendent actress. Even Prince Phillip, Harry’s grandfather, had reportedly told him: “One steps out with actresses, one doesn’t marry them.”

As usual, in these cases, the British media stays with the Queen and furthermore they were not satisfied by the couple’s attempts to maintain their son’s private life reserved and protect him from excessive media exposure.
The angry british tabloids attacked them even when they refused to offer the details of Archie’s birth and who delivered him, further annoying the British public by keeping his christening private and refusing to name his godparents.

No help has arrived from the other members of the Royal Family in those difficult moments while the Sussexes were struggling with this British media attacks.

Amongst the reasons of the family split, the strong beef between Prince Harry and Prince William and the following emotional and significant split of the foundation that Diana’s boys launched together.

During the interview in their Africa tour of October, the stress the couple was suffering was clear and Prince Harry seemed almost close to have a breakdown in front of the camera.

As from the words of Meghan Markle:

“I never thought that this would be easy, but I thought it would be fair,”

Then there was the family portrait, planned, made and published by the Royal family without them, literallt excluding them from the picture.

By the end of the year, it was clear they had had enough.

This “Megxit” was indeed expected and probably even pushed on by the interests of the other members in the Royal Family.
