The annual Fine Art exhibition “Artexpo New York” will be held on April 4-7, 2019
Each year thousands of art industry insiders flock to Artexpo New York in search of the art and artists that will shape trends in galleries worldwide. Hosting more than 35,000 avid art enthusiasts annually, Artexpo declares itself the largest international gathering of qualified trade buyers—including gallery owners and managers, art dealers, interior designers, architects, corporate art buyers, and art and framing retailers.
Artexpo self describe itself:
the world’s largest fine art marketplace.
The fine art trade show Artexpo has hosted the likes of Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg, Keith Haring, and Leroy Neiman during its 41-year history.
For 41 years and counting, Artexpo New York has been a destination where people buy and sell art, gathering together publishers, galleries, and collectors face to face with hundreds of established and emerging artists.
THOUSANDS OF NEW WORKS IN NEW YORK
For four days every spring, you could get an inside look at the innovations of hundreds of galleries and artists worldwide as they showcase their latest works:
- Dancers leaping mid air during a photoshoot.
- Cocktail parties with DJs spinning.
- Cutting-edge art and design seminars.
- Graffiti wars.
- Unveilings and premiers.
- Live demos.
- And above all, extraordinary art.
In the Artexpo Pavilion, there will be studio artists and galleries featuring thousands of paintings, glassworks, mixed media, and more. Then there’s the [SOLO] Pavilion for emerging independent artists and the [FOTO SOLO] Pavilion for independent fine art photographers.
This year it will host over 400+ innovative exhibiting artists, galleries, and publishers from across the globe, showcasing exciting original artwork, prints, paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, giclee, lithographs, glass works and more—all under one roof at Pier 92.
“We really enjoy working with RMG and are grateful for the support and encouragement you have given Lynn and I as we present our Prayer Machines to the public. Looking forward to our next outing with you, providing I can build enough new ones to fill a booth space again. You’ve created “good problems” for me. Thanks again, see you soon.”

A new location at Pier 92 – “The Art & Design Pier”
Artexpo New York is moving to Pier 92 and running concurrently with The Photography Show presented by AIPAD at Pier 94. Over the past several years, Pier 92/94 has quickly become a recognizable event space in New York City, utilized for high-end shows and large-scale events. Artexpo will follow The Armory Show, completing the trendy convention center’s month long critically acclaimed offering of exhilarating and prominent art fairs in New York City. Also home to the Armory Show, Pier 92 offers the opportunity to make some exciting changes, including a new Artexpo Platinum section, featuring a wide carpeted center aisle with major exhibitors on each side. Artexpo Platinum will be followed by a center section of booths, along with our signature [SOLO] and [FOTO SOLO] sections—all contributing to the excitement of Artexpo New York 2019.
